Edison is a stuffed animal marionette. His friends make fun of his funky running style since he tends to flail his arms as he moves his stubby legs.

CONNECTING ADULTS WITH

THEIR love FOR  play.

It was through his construction that I found that play is through the joy of exploring and testing with a variety of materials. Edison assists adults in connecting with their playful side and encourages individuals to want to play no matter their age.

Edison was derived from wanting to create a Frankenstein of a stuffed animal and a traditional marionatte. His patterning and construction process was mostly intuitive, learning how the fabric and string would function together to form a silly and simple movement.

A toy for an older audience, Edison induces squeals and laughter from both the puppeteer and whoever is watching Edison dance.
